Our students just finished a Black History study. During these weeks we read several books written by or about African Americans. The students were surprised that these books soon became their favorites. We decided to write book reports on these stories. Each student choice a favorite and, after practicing, recorded their reports. We used Garageband to add background music for ambiance.
